Welcome to the next generation meat and potatoes cymbal library exclusively from cinesamples. Featuring two piatti/crash cymbals and three suspended cymbals with multiple Round Robin and velocity this library is a must add to the percussion section of the template.

You are not going to find us bragging about a million mind-blowing features features on this library – its cymbals and cymbals only. But of course we couldn’t possibly release a library without a few composer friendly trifles!

3 Ways to Roll!

- Tempo Synced Rolls To continue our tradition of tempo synced, composer friendly material the suspended cymbals come with tempo-synced 1-8 beat rolls mapped from C2 to G2

- Free Fingered Rolls With RR Sometimes its easiest just to play in a quick flam of a roll with a flourish of a few fingers.  We recorded each cymbal as 5 layers with RR x 8 for manual playing. Use for single hits and homemade finger rolls alike.

- Mod Wheel Rolls Make your own rolls by holding down a single key and letting the mod wheel do the work.  The scripting will automatically fade through many recorded layers of rolls.  End with a normal let ring release or a choke.

You get 2 Crash Cymbals Piatti (18″, 20″) and 2 suspended cymbals (Cymbal 1 – Mallets/Sticks; Cymbal 2 – Mallets).  Tempo synced rolls recorded at multiple tempos and the usual care to layers and RR you would expect from cinesamples.  (Piatti @ 3×4; Cymbals @ a headache inducing 5×8)

These cymbals are primarily used by orchestras performing at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and they are frequently used by the NY Philharmonic.   They were hand picked by our LA percussionist for these sessions.

CineCrash was recorded at the same studio as most of our other drum products, the legendary Manhattan Center Studios in NY – the last big room on the east coast, used by legendary orchestras and film composers alike.  This is a gigantic recording studio featuring utilizing the top tier of  gear and acoustic treatments.  We’re not just borrowing a couple of U87′s and recording in a random auditorium on our m-box.  You get that true cinematic sound by going to the people who do cinematic for a living.   This is the real thing –  the true signal chain.
